Novation

Founded in 1992, Novation is frequently credited for making the first dedicated MIDI controller: the MM10. The popular Bass Station along with Drum Station analogue synths adopted this. They were then joined with their very first technical director, Chris Huggett, who had worked to the initial products in his spare time: his very first big project at Novation was the Supernova, which immediately became a go-to synthesizer for artists of the moment. Success continued with the Nova and SuperNova II. Novation became part of their Focusrite family in August 2004.

With the growing importance of software in the synthesiser field, Novation enlarged its array of keyboard controls and other innovative control surfaces for both musicians and producer/performers, completely integrated with powerful applications to make the perfect selection of equipment to perform, produce and perform music.

Novation gear was created by artists and producers who use the equipment they design every day. That's why bedroom manufacturers and high-street musicians alike utilize our kit: it's been created by and for musicians. And we're always looking for fresh ideas -- so in case you have something in your mind, get connected.

From studio to stage, Novation frees you to make your songs, your way -- like never before.
